Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls - a massive flow of water at the border of the US and Canada.

One has to be there to appreciate the insignificance of the human size and the power of water!

For those who plan to visit this place, some must do recommendations:

1. Do ride the Maid of the Mist boat - it takes you right to the middle of the horse-shoe falls, where you are surrounded by the massive waterfalls on three sides, churning up the water into fine sprays and mist! It is ethereal!

2. Do take the Whirl Pool Jet Boat ride, which is about 10 miles away from the actual waterfalls, and try to get a front seat aboard the Jet boat. Be prepared to get really really wet! They take you on some of the roughest white water rapids!

3. At night, the Canadian side is the one which has the best view. The falls are mostly on the American side, so the view is from the opposite side (Canadian side)! Beautiful interplay of colors give a painter's touch to the diving waters!

There are many more things to do - just have fun! And don't be afraid to get wet; it is real fun!
